The top two locations for Rock, Gem and Mineral Shows in the USA are; #1 Tucson (Feb), #2  Denver (Sep). People travel from all over the world to visit these two shows. The Tucson event is made up of multiple shows (approx. 40) that, almost, seem to consume the entire city.  The Denver event is much smaller (5 shows) but all the quality dealers are present and it is often said the prices are more reasonable. You will also find some dealers at the Denver show that you will not see at Tucson. With attendance that range above 40,000 these shows really fall in to the super-show catogory.

You can verify dates and times for each Mineral Show and obtain directions to the show by going to the Club’s website.

To be included in this list the shows should have 50+ Vendors.  But, vendor numbers can deceive, see my note at the bottom and left corner of this page.

I am certain I have missed some major show from this list.

When you go to a Rock and Mineral  Show - you will know if you are at a major show.

The problem with using a vendor count to determine if a show is a major show, is a booth can be 14 tables or one table. While it is improbable to have a 50 vendor show made up of 50, 1 table booths, many shows have small booths mixed in with larger booths.

I have not been to all the shows on this page and I am certain I have mised a few large shows that should be on this list. I may have also include a few shows that do not quite qualify as a major rock and mineral show.
